Everyone cheer for doggie dining!

Yesterday was the “Ribbon Chewing Ceremony” for the Cafe Canine at Greeneside’s Restaurant in Harmony. Greenside’s is the first restaurant in Osceola county to receive their permit for doggie dining since the bill passed. Yipee!

I had a lot of fun meeting the neighbors, including Dusty (if I remember correctly) above waiting for his calamari. Just kidding, the items on the doggie menu actually include cheese bagels, ice cream treats and a few items that I wanted to taste myself because they looked so good!

There was also Casey (above), who obviously comes from a distinguished pedigree sired by Rick James. hee hee. Actually he is a “super-freakish”-ly cute Irish Water Spaniel. Who knew?

Everyone who attended received a sampling of the menu, a celebratory bandana in a variety of yummy colors and a chance to win some neato gift baskets.

I had a blast during the festivities and look forward to bringing my pooch (the well-behaved one) out to eat there in the near future.

That is fantastic!!!! Have any other Osceola county establishments jumped on this bandwagon? Do they all have to get a permit or can any place with outdoor tables let you bring your pooch? Who can you contact to find out if any others are allowing our four legged children to eat out with us? This is our new favorite place. We can’t wait to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
